Juice Wrld Early Life
Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known as Juice Wrld, was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 2, 1998. When he was three years old, his parents divorced. He learnt to play the piano, guitar, and drums at a young age.
Juice Wrld attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Homewood, Illinois. He was a heavy drug user during his childhood and adolescence. When he was in sixth grade, he began drinking lean. When he was 15 years old, he started taking percocets and xanax.

Juice Wrld started cultivating his talent as an artist the year he started high school. He went by the stage name JuicetheKidd after releasing his first tune “Forever” on SoundCloud in 2015. The majority of his early recordings were recorded on his phone, and he continued to publish them to SoundCloud. JuicetheKidd was named after the late musician Tupac Shakur and the character he played in the film “Juice.” Juice Wrld was his new moniker, which “means taking over the world.”

What Caused Juice Wrld Death
Juice Wrld, at the peak of his career, died on December 8, 2019 at the age of 21. Upon landing at Chicago’s Midway International Airport, he suffered from an unidentified medical emergency. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, after convulsing and seizing.
An autopsy report on his body was revealed on January 22, 2020. His death was caused by an overdose of oxycodone and codeine, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. Law enforcement agents were warned by the pilot that the plane was carrying guns and drugs. Juice Wrld ingested multiple tablets, including Percocet, in an attempt to conceal the drugs. One of his associates admitted to becoming dependent on Percocet.

In 2018, his song “Lucid Dreams” was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Song of Summer.
Juice Wrld was nominated for a BET Hip-Hop Award for Best New Hip Hop Artist in 2018.
